Best Rap Artists
This is an intensely personal question. Who you think is the best rap artist depends largely on what you like.
There is a ‘best’ artist for every single variant of the rap and hip-hop
If you like the type of stuff that hits the billboard lists and gets radio play, then you are going to appreciate a different type of artist than someone who is deep into the current underground scene. Another person entirely might be wholly devoted to classic rap, like the songs from the nineties.
In the end it’s all subjective.
In an attempt to cover all my bases, though, here is a list, in no particular order, of some of the greats comprised with the input of many different types of fans. It should get you started.
